Kaila Tanis

Kaila was born in Arlington but grew up in Everett, WA. She is very happy to find herself back in Arlington, where she faithfully attends FBC with her husband Tucker, whom she met here at church.

Kaila went to Everett Community College through the Running Start program, earning an AA degree and high school diploma simultaneously in 2013. Since then, she has worked for WA State in the Dept. of Social and Health Services and in various customer service jobs, before transitioning to part-time secretary in 2022.

Kaila loves her Savior Jesus, skiing, her pets, camping, plants, and reading. She also greatly enjoys working with children, such as in FBC’s Children’s Ministry, and in supporting the mission field. Kaila and her husband hope to have a deeper involvement in missionary work in the future.
